Using Comdo 3.10 on my wife machine, and so far so good.
Much lighter than Avast Home (I use Avast Pro, love it) however.
Overall a great security suite. -- What else would you do? -- There is hope! |

| reply to Frydays said by Frydays :kav 2009 is good enough i dont recommend kav 2010 becuase it is bloated and buggy and even if you dont install the webav part it still slows down your internet and doesnt let you watch webcams it kills the connection it wasnt ready to be released to much stuff wrong with it KIS 2010 slows me down, too - it's not just me, then.
Right now I'm using AntiVir Premium 9. |

| Avast Home Edition 4.8.1335 on Every Househould PC Here, Figured since liked it on 2 Desktops, might as well deploy to Every PC, alot easier to manage in my honest opinion. No worrying on missing important updates for Antivirus security program, one Machine has an imporant program update--they all do |

| reply to kim I voted for Avast.
To be more specific, I'm using the free, Home Edition of Avast. I've been using it for well over a few years now, and it has never let me down. It's fairly user-friendly, and is updated quite frequently.
I used to use AVG Home Edition, but once their version 8 came out, it seemed way too bloated, and ran slowly. I'm not sure if they've improved at all since I stopped using it, but I'm happy with Avast so I probably won't ever think of changing back. |

I am beginning to second guess my decision to go with CA Antivirus with Anti spyware. Just like you will get everyone's opinion here, if you google "best firewall for windows xp" and no two sites will agree. Mind bogging. How important is software to have certifications with ICSA Labs, West Coast Labs, and Virus Bulletin? |
