·Comcast Formerly ..
| reply to kim Actually I'm using KAV on three boxes, Avast on one box, and no Anti-virus (only Process Guard and Malware Bytes) on my Server 2003 box. Formerly I used NOD32 on my the Server 2003 because ESET made no distinction, I went and purchased the newest version as my license had expired, and lo and behold, it wouldn't install. At some point over the past two years they changed things so that it is necessary to purchase a version that specifically works with Windows Server. Unfortunately the cost for that is something like 250 bucks. So I'm sitting here with a two year license for NOD32 that I won't be using. I am looking for an anti-virus that will run on Microsoft Server and is priced under $100. If anyone knows of such a product, I'm all ears. -- DAMOX |

| reply to kim I'm giving Microsoft Security Essentials a spin. I must admit, it's pretty good for a Beta. It's detection is very good. Runs light on my computer. I see a lot of potential. It's a Beta and there are some bugs that need to be fixed. But for a first released beta, it's not bad. It's another FREE anti-virus software to choose from. Looking forward to see what MS does with it. -- MS Security Essentials + Online Armor Free + Router/SPI |

i dont recommend kav 2010 becuase it is bloated and buggy and even if you dont install the webav part it still slows down your internet and doesnt let you watch webcams it kills the connection it wasnt ready to be released to much stuff wrong with it |
