Also, in Harrisburg, Adult VOD went from $13.99 to 11.99. So that's good news for some. |

1 edit | reply to j jefferson3 What's the Digital Classic A/O for $8.90? That's how much my current DCT-700 costs.
Digital Classic - is that some kind of grandfathered package? I have Triple Play Platinum. All Digital channels + the 4 premiums, CDV, 8mb HSI, and DVR.
Shouldn't the terms be updated, I'm not on Digital Classic, I'm on Platinum.
So to hook up extra TV's, if you subscribe to a lower level of service, it's cheaper? That doesn't seem right. So again it seems like they are driving people to digital economy and trying to get people off of higher packages. Is this so they don't have to pay the content providers as much money? I mean they do furnish numbers of how many people subscribe to what networks, so the content providers know how much to charge.
Looks like your best bet is Digital Economy, own your own modem and no CDV (since you can't buy an eMTA at this point). Didn't realize they were penalizing the big spenders.
P.S. J Jefferson, I love your enthusiasm! |

You Have Triple Play Platinum. All Digital channels + the 4 premiums, CDV, 8mb HSI, and DVR. this sounds like you have everything but The HD, so this will actually be an grandfathered package for the People in Pottsville if they offered here in the first place, since after November 1, 2009 comcast is Pushing HD, in fact add in the HD and Sport Package with your Stuff and it become what we will call the HD Premier Triple Play for $199.99, in fact after 11/01/2009 the Only Non-HD Triple Play in Pottsville will be the Economy Triple Play (which Itself is also new in Pottsville) Which is Digital Economy, Economy High Speed and Local Area only CDV for just $79.85!!! Comcast actually had here the names of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum but comcast actually got rid of those names here back in 2004, we had the terms of the last 4 for some years Starter (New for 2009),classic (was 2004, later merged with Preferred in 2008), preferred (2004), Plus (2004) and Premier (2008), so when in comes to naming some thing were behind, but some things we are ahead!!! |

At first blush I thought that notice said COMEDY Central was being removed from Digital Starter. Heads would role.
Sweet about HistoryHD though. |

| A lot of unanswered questions about that ad.Did they really mean TCN on channel 5 (not 8)moving to 26 and requiring a digital converter or cablecard? What happens to QVC that is currently on 26? Is Comcast Central going away or do you need Digital Classic and above to get it? Red Zone HD is on the guide on 255 but I don't have the S&E pack so I just get "Not Authorized"
Question for you cypher,were did Comcast find the bandwidth for the new channels and is there any capacity left? |

What about the Schuylkill County Area? Are we not on the same headend as Reading and Hamburg? I wish I knew enough about the cable system to force a rebuttle by Bicker..he is rhedoric is really good! |

  j jefferson3
@comcast.net
| Know in Schuylkill County as The Comcast System of Pottsville, we were to have History HD and Animal Planet HD 3 months ago, but they gave it to the System in Lancaster instead!!! We were going to have them in the 200 Range but if your close to digital Migration they give you them in the 800 Range Instead, (They are coming to a new HD set structure for this Overall Region) in an Overall timescale we (Pottsville) are behind Reading/Hamburg so there really is no necessarily to add them, but i want them anyway!!!! also TCN was removed from analog here 6 months ago, in fact i believe Reading was the Last one to have it in Analog, but Both areas need even more analog Removed as soon as possible!!!!! |
