T-Mobile has easily been the best cell phone company out of 4 I've used. Wife doesn't like it though, as she works further away, and it doesn't work very well there.

Everyone else I know is either on Nextel or Boost, so what the heck, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!!

Based upon my extensive personal experience and being around people who are always using cellular phones in my presence Verizon is in a class by itself in one area: Reception. In fact I never had a telephone conversation with my cellular telephone where the person I was speaking could tell I was using a cellular.

AT&T is the second most common where I am but it has a lot more dead areas than Verizon.

At least in Southern California Sprint is in a class by itself for poor reception. I'm still with Verizon ..after all these years, and although they are somewhat pricier than local competition, they have never failed me connection wise.

I also enjoy their New Every 2 for upgrading my phone and have loads of grandfathered features they still honor.

If you use more than one mobile device please vote for the provider you use the most often even if it's a data only device. I looked at last year's poll and only 1.1% of respondents were reporting using a Canadian service provider, so I replaced the Canadian options with US pre-paid service providers. Virgin Mobile bought out Helio in August, but they are marketed separately so this year they will be two separate listings. If I've missed your particular provider please vote other (either pre-paid or post-paid).
