I wasn't really a fan of NW or NW2, to be honest. So I may be the wrong person to ask. BG:Shadows of Amn was my personal favorite. And I think that Drakensang, from the demo, is really following in that spirit. It's a different game, with different mechanics, but extremely playable and appeals to the same part of me that loved those games. |

| Yeah, actually, it does. I really need that too. It has an autopause after every turn -- I imagine you can turn it off in options if you want, but I liked having it there. Also space bar pauses/unpauses it at any time, just like in BG2. You can also line up commands, like... give each of your characters their next command and the command after that, and unpause and watch them all go at it.
Picked it up last night -- the range of character customization is pretty astounding. It makes me want to roll a ton of different characters, find out what I like the best. |

1 edit | Isn't FUEL from the makers of PURE? I think PURE got some criticism for interminably long loading times. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE racing games (arcade and sim) and will gladly check into FUEL when the time comes. I haven't personally tried PURE, but would like to at some point.
Edit - NM, it looks like a different developer & publisher . Will certainly check out FUEL when the time comes. |

| said by shinjuru :Movie game adaptations have always disappointed me, for some reason. They usually suck, but The Chronicles of Riddick game that came out a few years ago, and the new riddick game with the addition of butcher bay with enhanced graphics are pretty kickass. In fact, Butcher Bay is one of the best FPS's i've played. |

I don't think you will find legitimate games like the ones listed here (or older games) available free to download. But I'm not so sure, so keep searching
If you join Steam, you can buy a lot of old games and such for $5 to $10. Some of them are true classics. -- As quiet as a fish.. |
