I was still playing warcraft II when they started working on WoW. 5 years is nothing.

Ive played MMO's for 10 years, and Darkfall has actually been in development for 8 years, longer then most MMO's. Again, 8 years of development its already launching outdated and the current condition its in is scary for that much dev time. Any game developed 5-6 years "should" be pretty ready at launch. 8 years means this game should be bloody perfect and its nowhere close. I predict a horrible launch, and within 3 months an abysmal failure. |

| Welcome to DSLR, Islaw.
I always try and play through a game at least once without cheating and then go through it again on the hardest setting and use the cheat codes. It can be alot of fun. Well, depending on the game of course. Some games are ruined by cheating, others can be very entertaining using cheats.

Seeing as how that's the number 1 complaint about the game, my hope is they've addressed it to at least some degree.
Still, the Total war games may be my favorite series of all-time. I'll be picking up Empire TW upon release if reviews are great, after a patch or two if AI is still an issue. |

I watched a video this weekend of the gameplay and I cannot believe how HORRIBLE the animations are. 8 years and their animations are worse then EQ1 and Im being totally honest. IMO we need to start a betting pool on how fast this game tanks lol. |
