Partner P832.lcdz keypad

I work for a phone company and was recently called to a trouble call for a commercial customer whom has an alarm. It is a partner keypad. The customer had centrex lines with verizon and had to dial a 9 to call out. They no longer have to dial 9 however the alarm is programed to dial a 9. I looked through out the thing and saw nowhere to change that feature. The only spot I was not able to access was technician setup because it wanted a password.
Dose anyone know where I can change the dialing rules.

I would think the company that monitors the alarm would be the better one to be taking care of this. Have they (or you) contacted them?

Agreed and I work in the telecom industry as well. Contact the alarm company and tell them your dial plan has changed. They'll make the necessary changes. Don't forget to schedule a test.

I agree with everyone else, don't mess with the alarm, let the alarm company do that.

And anytime you touch any wiring that might affect an alarm system make sure to tell them in writing the alarm system needs to be tested.
