| [rant] Macbook Pro wake up from sleep
I really love Apple, but holy crap am I pissed off. I manage an office network with about 40 Macs, and a decent number of our laptops exhibit the failing to wake from sleep issue. I am so sick and tired of this problem and the fact that it's been going on for such a long time without resolution. And to top it all off, I bought the president of our company the new MBP model and guess what, it has the same problem. He doesn't even use an external display or bluetooth or anything. FAIL! -- "To create a new standard takes something that's not just a little bit different. It takes something that's really new and captures people's imaginations. Macintosh meets that standard." -- Bill Gates | |

| The problem was much worse for me when Leo first came out. Since the last update (10.5.5) it's been a lot better. I think I've only had one crash and I close the lid literally 5-6 times a day. As someone else suggested, it might just be something specific to your setup. -- It's only a model... | |
