just get a cigarette lighter adapter.

120 watt adpater should be enough for the modem/router and laptop on AC.

I have never heard of such a thing. I know there are a number of portable routers that allow USB or PC Card 3G modems to be attached however. Here is an example of one »www.kyocera-wireless.com/kr1-router/
