I doubt if it would find anything on mine other than what I chose not to have but it sounds like an interesting program. I find it's just as easy to make a hop to the updating site(s) and get what's needed a couple of times a week.
For what it is worth I went to WU prior to trying it.

They tell you why it is a small part of the protector plus software and that program you would have to pay for but this tool can be downloaded free of cost.

A quick look around says it is free yes, but why is it advertised as a 30 day trial though? (Top button on the download page?)

Why would it be advertised as such if it is free. I feel they may be leading up to charging for it, or not telling us everything.

It was a questionable fact it did find an update missed. Any one sent this comany an email as yet to ask the question?

I agree it may not be worth $30 dollars as a SOHO user, but for a business model, it is worth it.

This tool picked up 1 for me and it was one that has been out for a while, so Belarc/Secunia missed it too?

I visit Microsoft update and it didn't list it, so don't go saying it is quite a worthless a tool as you may think. I think it quite ironic we look at 3rd party vendors to check our Windows/Microsoft updates, because The owner of the O/S doesn't do it properly.

ummmm the other software is 30 dollars the tool posted is freeware. May want to check again
