| Comcast prices Why is comcast so much cheaper for everyone else?
I live in Central Illinois, and for me to just get Comcast Cable internet it would be 80 a month for 16 speed.
No tv, no phone, just internet. |

| True, however there are 2 dsl companies in this area, and neighbors of mine are paying $43 for the same service.
I don't understand why they are charging so much for new customers. |

This is a really bad move. They should re-think about it. Many people will downgrade, no doubts. |

yea but what are their speeds? anywhere close to 16Mb? If not then it cant be considered as competition,thats why the higher prices, same story in my town, at&t is the only competition and their fastest speed is 6/768 |
