With Qwest doing this, can you say crushed under the pressure of Cable MSOs ramping up D2 speeds and deploying D3 gear and speeds? (Granted, D3 spec is damned expensive for the time being.)
Cable has offered better speeds than most DSL providers for at least 6 years now and has yet to be "crushed". I doubt most users could tell the difference between 5M and 50M since they just use it for e-mail and web surfing anyways.
