|  BBU - Beeping?
I kept hearing 2 loud beep sounds every hour. It would go "beep beep. " It literally took me 2 days to figure out where it was coming from. If I wasn't doing laundry I wouldn't have realized it was coming from the fios box. I took out the battery and the beeping stopped. I can sleep again!
However, what does two beeps mean? That battery is dead? How often does one normally have to replace the battery? We only had one power outage but that was for few days, the transformer right by my house blew up.
We have had FIOS for over 2.5 years so I'm sure it's not under warranty. Is there a cheap place I can order it online/locally? We do have verizon home phone service.

Just ordered battery. Been so busy.
Thanks again grobinette. This was the best price I could find from a reputable vendor. They are in VA too, just few hours away so thats a bonus. I hope it comes in 2 days. :c) |
