SIP trunks

SIP Trunks
QTY 5 trunks

Please include provider and different pkgs.
I know some have 500 min, some have 1500, some have unlimited, and some are just metered with no minutes.

YAWN.....
instead of redirecting to a site, like the majority of the posts, if you could just respond in the thread, that would be helpful.

John,

I have multiple providers that can do SIP trunking. Just to give you an idea of pricing on one:

$18 per trunk (3 Year Commitment). Each trunk includes unlimited inbound and 500 outbound. 1 DID per trunk.

Price increases to $20 (2 Year Term) or $22 (1 year term).

You can buy buckets of minutes at:

1500 minutes per month $32 monthly
3000 minutes per month $62 monthly
5000 minutes per month $100 monthly
7500 minutes per month $147 monthly
10000 minutes per month $190 monthly
15000 minutes per month $278 monthly

I have several other options as well.

Call 888-385-9169 or email jbarnes@shopfort1.com to discuss.

Are you doing a school project? Serious businesses wouldn't ask such an open ended question ... instead they would describe their situation and ask for someone to meet their specific requirements. If it's for a school project, that's fine, just tell us.

If it's for a real business purpose then you have to provide information that will make any response useful to you. Tell us what type of phone system and software version you have and if it takes SIP natively, or if you'll need some type of protocol converter. If your phone system supports DID, how many DID numbers will you be needing? You'll also have to tell us your physical address and the first 7 digits of your current phone number -- you won't do this if we can't port in your number(s), or at least provide a new number in your local area, right? And we need to ensure that we can provide E911 service to you. If you'll want originating numbers in different parts of the country tell us those, too, so we can be sure to be able to meet those needs. Tell us what you are replacing, and why you want to replace it. Will you want to run modem traffic (fax, credit card terminal, FedEx machine, burglar alarm, etc)? Tell us about what type of bandwidth you have and if you have enough capacity to add voice and the equipment to prioritize voice; or if you'll want separate bandwidth for the voice traffic. Tell us about your calling patterns ... don't make us guess about your minutes ... tell us how many minutes you expect incoming, outgoing local, outgoing long distance, and outgoing to each international destination.

Help us help you, and you'll get to the right answer more efficiently.

Michael

Not to be rude but the shopforsiptrunking crowd really need to update their templates - I did an inquiry and not only do you not have service where I am (others do - pretty much everyone does actually) I also got template emails talking about ShopforT1 and no real mention of SIP

I would put a rocket up geoquote - if you are a customer they need to do much better than that

Cheers

Re: SIP trunks

Thanks bandwidthkiw ... I followed your advice. That portal is new and some of the xml plugins etc. are still reconciling with the design and database it seems. I do know the initial "response" is just a general system look .... with more detail provided in follow-up (following more human research).

voicepulse.com is a top rated service. Have you thought about just paying per minute for out outgoing calls? It might be less than so called unlimited providers. either way someone has to pay for it.

Voicepulse has US Long Distance an the sub .01 level and you can get 4 unlimited incoming lines for $11 per month.
