She is at the moment in the US doing her nursing pre requisites prior to going into the nursing program but wants to do the nursing training here in the UK. Any ideas where online I could go to get information for her? Royal College of Nursing is the trade body/(largest) union in that sector here (circa 390k members) »www.rcn.org.uk/
i think that unless your friend is an EEA* citizen (or the spouse of one), she may find it's impossible to train here now »www.rcn.org.uk/nursing/becomenurse {basically because the courses exist to train staff for the NHS, who also fund them, and your friend would be unable to work here legally - entry level nursing positions not being a "shortage occupation" since August 2006 (some specialisms and senior nurses might still be able to get in) »www.rcn.org.uk/nursing/comingtou···_permits
