Anyway I live in elmhurst, NY 11373
I'm having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM as you guys. After 8pm, my speeds would be CRAWLING and I just had a tech come in because of that problem and he told me that he couldn't do anything about that because it sounds like it's congestion and he/twc can't do anything about that. He said that the internet is only for "web browsing" and they will soon charge people for the "extra bandwidth" they use on top of the monthly bill. I've never heard of this bullshit before and right now the speeds I get between that time is 500kb-3mb and with those speeds I can't even do anything when I play online games because the ping is so high. Before the ping would be as high as 500-600ms. [I just copied what I wrote before, haha --;;] |

| Well you're lucky. It's been going on for the longest for me. I've never really been a heavy user at night but recently have been on the internet more so I started making an issue out of it.
BTW, speeds are slower when connected directly to modem!! |
