There's a lot to read IF you want to choose another route. Otherwise it's just a matter of flashing it. No it's not available at any local electronics store. eBay & Craigslist are the usual spots. BUYER BEWARE though of scammers at both sites. Just note 2 things: 1) I can only vouch for my model: Bell 2701HG-G 2) I tried this firmware & nothing else: 2wire_reinstall_voice_5.29.117.3.2sp
