| Penn State - Illinois
So this week is Penn State's first real challenge.
Am I the only one worried about Illinois and Juice Williams? It seems like Illinois and Iowa always sneak up on someone every year.
Illinois played Missouri (now #6) very close, and although last week they barely beat Louisiana-Lafayette, I think they were probably looking ahead to the PSU game.
I think as long as the Lions can throw up big points on Illinois, they should be ok. I'm just hoping their defense can contain Williams. -- He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have. -Socrates |

| I can understand your reservations about how good PSU is at this point in the season, but when you are favored by 14+ points, chances of an upset are pretty slim. From what I have seen of PSU they look like a team that plays with a hunger, and that should make for great season. |

| I say PSU just covers the spread (17) and the final score is something like 38-21. A night game at the 'beav always gives PSU an extra 7-10 points, it seems. |

Whatever weakness PSU might have it isn't from reading their press clippings and believing that they have been anointed. As I said Penn State plays with real intensity and they might be the only team in the Big Ten who does.
BTW, I have seen -0- of that from my team, the Buckeyes. |

| reply to deblin A good win, although the D worries me some.
Next up: at Purdue. Feels like a trap game with Wisconsin looming, but I think they're focused. Hey, if ND can beat them we sure should . |
