I played the hell out of Mega man back in the day. So I downloaded the demo lastnight and again I was taught an important lesson.... Memories of oldschool games are much better than, oldschool games rebirthed today. I couldn't play this for more than 10-15 minutes before I had enough. Now my memories of this game are ruined....

As far as difficulty goes, this is easily the hardest entry in the (classic) MM series for me. But at least it's nowhere near as hard as Ninja Gaiden or Ghosts 'n Goblins. Those were just sadistic. |

My sons tried it. Apparently Mega Man 9 doesn't play with young kids who are used to high resolution graphics. Their first console was a PS2. They are slowly becoming PS3 spoiled. Even the Wii is starting to suffer a bit due to the popularity of the PS3.
The on-line PSN store and great free demo games really help make the PS3 more fun than the Wii.

I tried the demo on Xbox. It was made perfectly. I wish they would create more old school games like this. Most gamers grew up on this stuff.

hard as hell.. I have played for about 3 hours and only beat 2 bosses. Its not so much the boss but the level. They are brutal. |
