1 edit | reply to dbmaven Yes, speeds around 07:00 are always lighting because no one is online. I have the same results. Speeds btwn 16:00-05:00 are 300kbps-1.2Mbps.
If Verizon people are reading this: Please hurry up. You have so many potential customers waiting to switch.
Right now...

| Welcome to the party Pal!
What I was told yesterday is that engineering will be working on the problem in Flushing...eventually. Said they are going to try to reroute some traffic off of the overloaded node. Whatev...
I wonder what the total cost to adding/appending to a new node. Probably not something they are willing to spend with ease or speed.
Make sure you have TWC customer service appoint you a "client relations specialist." Just call in to TWC customer service and they will have the specialist ring you within 72 hours to setup a ticket for your problem. I have been speaking with Ms. Johnson. She is a straight shooter and very understanding.

| reply to dbmaven Well heres my story, Im in flushing, near flushing hospital and fios isnt available yet, so i called twc regarding slow speeds
Visit 1 - changed the modem to a new wireless modem result - problem is worst, not only its still slow, but now the connection drops for a few mins and then resumes, the only way to solve is restart the modem
Visit 2 - tech came in looked at the wires said everything was fine. result - no luck still the same
visit 3 - I wasn't present my mom )who is computer illiterate) told me he checked the wires and computer, everything "seemed" ok
I finally went back to TWC office in queens center mall, exchanged the modem and yet the problem still persists
the public relations gave me a call after i submitted my doittt and she said she will "escalate" the problem to her broadband dept. but honest I have no hope. i think i will be switching back to verizon DSL down the 3.0 mbps, which was stable when i had it. |

| reply to dbmaven Here's a fun chart. How pitiful, TWC should be embarrassed. I bet if I lived in Manhattan, the problem would have been fixed within 3 days. |
