Thou asks, and thy shall receive, »[iPhone] iPhone Speedtest plus GEO-TAGGING, question for Justin
Here are some pics from my beta testing so far.
This app rocks! Best speed test out there so far for the iPhone.
Thanks to Justin and Moises for designing it! |

| said by Mike :Need to find some way to fix the icon though. An icon design very welcome. We can use a PNG.
I've just added an australian server.
There are a number of annoyances that are getting fixed now, such as the way it does "trials", how the results don't show in the history log (you have to click through) and stuff like that. I'm told they are easy fixes so we should have a new version this week.
I've applied for the iphone developer license and it went through, so I can submit it any time to the appstore but would like to wait for the icon first, and of course the fix list (and anything else mentioned to me).
I'm not sure of the exact icon dimensions required though! |

justin Australian join:1999-05-28 Brooklyn, NY | I know the technical side, heck I can just hand the developer a PNG and he'll do it. But my photoshop skills lack so I can't properly design one that reflects that it is a speed test from dslreports.com .. |

Why not just the circle BBR icon ala the fav icon? -- Making procrastination an art form since Pluto was still a planet. |

| reply to enOehT Is this theoretically possible?
Is this download possible on AT&T's network?
What is the theoretical maximum download for the iPhone, on any network, in any country?
Thanks |

justin Australian join:1999-05-28 Brooklyn, NY | reply to enOehT yeah I think its possible, it seems to be 900kbit or so on my local 3g, and thats not a whole lot more.
the problem as with all these services (and why sites take a while to appear) is not the ultimate speed but the latency. |
