I dropped my BlackBerry in the water twice this past summer, while on the lake and swimming. It was both actually in the same lake, and the 2nd time I had to go get it on the bottom, so it took about 2 minutes, because it was dark.
Anyway, I just removed the battery after the first time it fell it, so the 2nd time it fell in it didn't have a battery in it. I brought it home and poured distilled water all over it, and then let it dry for about 24 hours and now it works just as good as new. |

I have used distilled water then followed it up with rubbing alcohol, dismantled, and let dry. Worked! -- "A religious war is like children fighting over who has the strongest imaginary friend."
