no more newsgroup service as of 10/25

I know it's on the comcast hsi forum but I know most of us probably don't frequent there so I will post and link to it here. As of today for new customers and as of 10/25 for current customers there won't be anymore newsgroup service from comcast.

 Wow, that really stinks!!!! Ironically, this was one of the advantages over FIOS, because Verizon also stopped archiving all newsgroups but a few. So that puts CC's advantage to still has Analog (if that is good), better On Demand (thanks to previous big money deals with ABC, MGM), and they have Movieplex/RetroPlex/IndiePlex and the On Demand for them. And News12 NJ. That's about it. Gotta run, and get Verizon on the phone!
