| Need suggestions for wife's wish
The wife said for Xmas this year, she wanted to be able to take and play her songs both in the car and at her desk at work (no headphones).
She has a nuvi 660, but she doesn't like the way it plays through the car's radio (via FM broadcast) and has some gripe about the way it would play for her at work (something about the controls).
The only thing I have come up with so far, is to get her: - a USB 2GB flash drive for her to put her songs on - a new car stereo with a USB input jack/MP3 capability - a tabletop radio with a USB input jack/MP3 capability (if they make one)
But then I am looking at installing the stereo, etc.
So...any suggestions/alternative ideas? Thanks! |

| reply to Astieroth Why not just put your wife's music on CD's in mp3 format? Its kinda low tech but it works. After all, a solution is a solution. And she may appreciate the extra effort you make in doing all the song arranging and CD burning.
CD's work in Car player (most newer ones play mp3's), and Im presuming that she has a PC in the office with a CD/DVD player, so no headphones are required in either place.
It might even work for DVD's if car stereo can play DVD's. -- Remember: To err is human. A computer is required to really mess things up! |

| reply to Astieroth I have been wanting one of these to replace my car radio with. Sounds right up your alley, carwise.

Then get an iPod.
And for the office an iPod dock with built-in speakers. |
