habya : Well after beating within 5 hours I must say I won't play through it again. Really no purpose to play through more than once, considering you can just load a save game to get both endings.

Very few levels, and repetitive enemies. The attempt at a 'leveling up' system was sub-par. It wasn't worse than some other SW games, but that doesn't mean it is good. Force powers were fun and exciting, but I still would have like to seen arms falling off when attacked by a lightsaber :) (didn't use that to detract from my scoring). I did like the use of the different color crystals for effects. My personal favorite was yellow unstable or purple unstable, although compressed gold was nice also. The black saber would have been better if you didn't get it so late into the game :).

It was nice being able to use force powers beyond just throwing people around, although I would have liked to seen more thinking involved in their use. Perhaps at least a little thinking in terms of when to use a certain power and where to use it. Being able to grip enemies, charge them with lightning, and throw them against another group was a blast, literally. Also, the use of button combos was interesting for fighting bosses/large enemies. Although I did notice it would mess me up a lot since I would be attacking in a sequence and try to complete the combo. The Wii version I was expecting more from the graphics, something at least as excellent as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption but as far as game play, I think they did this one right.

The only other gripe I would say I have is that you seem to have unlimited lives and after dying you will respawn and the boss is right at the same amount of damage that you left off with before you died, instead of you having to restart the whole battle again. Makes for a bit of a cheesy fight because you can just keep dying and whittling away at his/her health until you finally beat them with no other consequence other than you loosing some Force points. But that might be completely different once you play the game on a harder difficulty level so I don't know.
--
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo

Matt : I'm also having a good time with it. I think it's much better so far than the 7 average rating has received. The targeting system is not the huge deal all the reviewers made it out to be and hasn't caused me to die a single time yet. The button-combo for the final boss fights is sort of stupid until you pay more attention to the cinematics than the concept itself.

Which seems like more fun: Finishing a boss the normal way that you beat their health all the way down, or getting an interactive cut-scene in which you do cool a force/lightsaber moves that you don't even have in the game? I think the latter is much more fun and I found myself cheering when I was taking out the Rancors and some of the other Jedi. :)

It can be a bit repetitive, especially if you are playing just to get done as fast as possible. You can damn near beat the entire game with force grip it seems like ... but when I get bored throwing things around ... I remember there are a myriad of OTHER cool ways to kill things. Causing avalanches on multiple enemies, force grip/lightning/saber combos, force grip/repulse combo, all the different saber styles ... it's a ton of fun so far.

I think the 7's are a result of the enormous hype and then the let-down that invariably claim. I'd rate it a solid 8.5 or 9 so far ... The target lock is very very relaxed and it's easy to grab the wrong person/object. This can cause problems if it's an exploding barrel :/ . So far it's enjoyable but not one of those games that I'd rush out to get, I'd say rent it and play it for a few days. From those I know who already beat it, it did not take long to get everything and only took them 1 day lol (they played a lot though).

With no multiplayer etc I don't see much replay value in it, so is it worth paying $60 for?
--
HABYA HABYA HABYA TEAR DOWN THE HEMP STALKS EAT UP THE OLD MAN AND WOMAN AND CARRY OFF THE LITTLE GIRL MAY YOU DIE ALONE
