Actually all the order processing (etc) employees were bulk hired for Uverse through temp agencies and probably make $15 an hour (with no benifits of any kind). They aren't in the union. |

| I interviewed with one of those temp agencies in Feb. It was door to door and you got $75 if someone signed up and it was a per hour rate. The interviewer was wearing a golf shirt. I was pretty pissed I fell for it. About a week later, I fell for the same thing with Verizon - it was a cattle call and I was the only one wearing a tie. The interviewer never showed up and all 15 of us left a resume and went home. |
