| Replying to an old thread, as we are finally ready to order the drive convertor..
Do I need the ZIF model or the the one without the zif connector in order to hook it up to the Creative Zen M drive?
I'm letting the Zen M that is damaged sit plugged in to a PC USB port all day just to make sure it doesn't need to be charged. I wash my Zen M Carefully all the time in order to clean up things like ketchup or milk splatter spills, etc, so I can't believe it's totally dead.
If it is, I'll be ordering one of the two parts...and hooking it up to an IDE cable inside an older PC to transfer things. No point risking my brand new home built one of less than a year old if the zen hard drive is somehow bad... |
