When the local 11 O'clock news starts talking about broadband issues instead of the latest fire or killing from a city 1,000 miles away, then maybe that will change. -- My BLOG .. .. Internet News .. .. My Web Page Ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk? |

Here is the problem with your statement.
Once someone gets a hold of that blog post, it will get ripped apart by those who either do know or think they know. This causes more distrust in the company (this case being Verizon) and the credibility goes down. |

on the other hand, the government has this agency called the "FCC" that is supposed to be looking out for the public interest, so it's not really the job of the 11 o'clock news.
besides, the "news" industry is mainly in the tank for the same interests the FCC is supposed to be regulating, so I certainly wouldn't expect them to be pointing out how consumers are being screwed by their bosses. for that matter, the FCC is in the tank for the interests they are supposed to be regulating (even cable, for whom Martin shows no love). |

So long as no-one listens to anything you say, they'll be ok. |
