It looks like if you can scrap up enough for 5 or more OS licenses (basically being a VLK customer), it will allow you access to the software cheaper. You would have to contact a Microsoft Reseller and ask about the cost of the Microsoft's Software Assurance (SA) program for 5 licenses.

| They sell you a product that cost around $150.00 and trying to sell you another product to "diagnose and fix it" for $1200.00. Am I seeing things. 
Good info, doc.
Before I try it, does it fix or diagnose but no fix until you pay? I have a lot of parts make virgin PC.

| It fixes for 30 Days. After it expires, I assume it no longer boots and says expired instead. There isn't anyway to buy it and extend the 30 Days, you'd have to order it from MS or a Certified MS Reseller/Solutions Provider to get the non-expiring version.
