Theoretically, you can turn off DHCP and use only the LAN ports to make pretty much any router work as a switch.

That said, however, I have never been able to make my FR114P do this. The unit works fine as a router (except that it is too slow for modern Broadband speeds), so I don't believe there is anything wrong with it. Just guessing here, but perhaps somehow the built-in print server is preventing me from using the router as a switch.
