New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a source familiar with the injury.
“It’s bad,” a team source said. “We’re going to have to play without him.”

I was at the game yesterday and when it happened everyone was in shock.
Doesn't look like we'll have him back this season.

| They do have the benefit of having an easy schedule this season.
They should still be able to make the playoffs, but maybe they might not be able to hold up to quality opponents as well as they would have.

And although the Pats still won. I too see a tough year for the Pats. Brady was the back bone to the team but hopefully Casy will be able to pick up some of it.
