 [FYI] Noe_00

I'm sorry to learn of the passing of noe_00 See Profile on August 24 2008. He was a gentleman, scholar and artist. His contributions here were always met with enthusiastic approval.

I copied his obit from his local newspaper - IM me and I'll send it to you. I didn't want to post it after seeing how another obit posted on BBR awhile back led to some hurtful and nasty spam posts in the paper's guestbook. I believe the guestbook is moderated by pre-publication review, but didn't want to take any chances.

Very sad news, indeed. He was a valued addition to our community, and will miss his talented contributions here.

EGeezer, I'm really horrified at hearing about an obit posted here resulting in spam posts---that's disgusting. I wonder--instead of posting a link to the obit, what if you just posted the text of the obit with no link to the guestbook, obit, or anything? Would that be safer since there wouldn't be any link to harvest? I'd sort of like his obit to become part of our "archives" here. Barring that, of course, do send it along privately. Thanks.
