I just purchased an Optros OP-6080 portable DVD player. It is cheap and has good picture quality for it's price. Could use a bit more volume. But over all I am quite pleased with it.
As with most such devices out of China the manual is awful. What I need to know is what format of DVD video this thing will play. It plays my pre-record DVD's just fine. It does Mp3 but the Mp3 videos I have, and have transferred to DVD-R's will not play. Is it the disk or flavor of MP3 that is giving me trouble. I can convert to just about every format so any help you can give me will be appreciated. -- Send a prayer to Allah, eat Beans. |

| I will admit they are not common but I do have a few MP3 video's. Out of several thousand files only 9 to be exact. My file manager calls them MP3's but they could be one of the less common MP3 flavors out there. It is Because of all of the less common formats I have in my files I run 9 different players. I find, however, VLC media player is as close to a universal playing among the ones I run. -- Send a prayer to Allah, eat Beans. |

| I don't quite understand when you say you "transferred" the files to DVD-Rs, are you converting them to DVD video format or are you copying them as data files?
If you have .mp3 files containing video I'd think they might just be mis-labeled video files. Some players will play mis-labeled files so you wouldn't know that they were mis-labeled.
You could try renaming them with common video endings like .mpg, .avi, and so on and see if one of them works. |
