 Automatic invoice email, new?

I received my invoice via email for the first time ever. Is this new, because I never received them before. If this is new, It's a good change.

hehe neostylez...

yeah, the new accounting system will auto-email people now so they receive a copy of their charges. Thought it would be a nice feature to turn on once available.

Cool. Very nice. I never had a need for a PDF invoice from TSI, but it sure is nice to have a copy in my inbox.

You should see many, and I mean many, new things pop up over the next 12 months from a customer-centric perspective!

I just looked at the invoice again (first time checked it on my iPhone) and it seems the TekSavvy logo is a low res image. It would look better (on screen & in print) if it was a vector graphic, and the PDF file size would be smaller. Not that it's large at 45KB, but sending out tens of thousands invoices can add up.

Does this mean detailed billing (phone numbers, times) for those on Teksavvy long distance plans? Or is that still to come?

I actually need an invoice every month and am glad it's automated finally (had to request it every month until now).

One thing though, the invoice is missing billing period, it needs to be added.

Is this why I got 2 invoices mailed to me last month? :P

(Not sure about this month yet... should know when I get it in a day or two)

Both exact same E-mails, 1 sent a day apart... I just ignored it, figured it was an error :P

If you get duplicates it would be a glitch... In some cases people have multiple services and email addys and we've tried to program so that it doesn't duplicate but humans programed it, so thinking of all the angles are a work in progress.

Only 2? I got 6 last month (5 for Long distance). Makes it somewhat difficult to keep track of what you actually owe. But I called in and was told that it will hopefully be fixed for next month. I have to say that I have 2 DSL accounts and 2 Phone lines in 2 different cities

Rocky: a little off topic but one thing that would be nice is to list the out going Long Distance numbers that were called, would help for tracking phone use in the house.

Thanks

I don't mind double bills, at least when theyre not collected
