Got a brand name and model of Mini DV?
Have you tried just plain-jane importing the video to a folder and playing it with something like VLC or GOM Player?

1 edit | It's a Samsung SCD-67, it's about 5 years old or so. I'll try listening to the file with VLC.
**EDIT**
No luck with VLC either, no sound. I got a hold of Samsung again, because I can not find the disc that came with the camera....I have a request for them to send me a copy of it (heaven forbid they have it for download somewhere)...so now it's just a hurry up and wait process. |
