| House Inspection Woes
Someone emailed me this PowerPoint file of House inspection finds. I busted it up into Jpegs for the PowerPoint deprived. I will not take responsibility for any homemade inventions spawned from this thread.
Note: if someone can tell me the technic to having my text show to the top of the post and the uploaded show pictures below, I'll be thankful. ... Thanks robbin

| reply to natedj I'll like to nominate the candidate for Picture #11 Its a very tidy installation job, but I don't think I can get drunk enough to set foot in it. |

The first house I bought in 1974 had a shower with a light installed in it. The switch wasn't in the shower, however it was in the neutral so the light fixture was always hot. -- Gadgets |

| reply to natedj said by natedj :Note: if someone can tell me the technic to having my text show to the top of the post and the uploaded show pictures below, I'll be thankful. Easy -- every upload is a different attachment. Where ever you want one of the attachments to be you insert the following
[attachment=1]
Now this would be for the first attachment. Replace the numeral 1 with the number of the attachment you want placed at that location for subsequent attachments. |

| These seem to be the same ones off the "Home Inspection Nightmares" Site on This Old House: »www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/info/0,···,00.html
There you go, 13 cringworthy albums of pics. Each album has around 17 pics, so there is quite abit to look at! |

| reply to natedj Cripes! I've had nightmares about my new home looking somewhat like these.
I crawled through our present house with the pre-purchase inspector. It was worth it not having to wait for the report. -- Look at the pretty smoke! |

The scary ones are the 1-year old house pictures ... and those passed a recent inspection. What else wasn't done correctly that was missed? -- This Space for Rent... |
