| I'm not sure what other options you're talking about but at least these couple should get you connected.
I'm still a fan of the discontinued Speedstream modems, in fact, I have a little stash of them set aside in case any of my clients needs a replacement. The currently shipping Motorola seems, ehh, ok, although I'm concerned about the reports of it running hot.
I'm also not a fan of the 2wires, for exactly the reason you're here asking these questions. It's usually the power supply that dies, but it's not all that unusual for the modem to go belly up either. |
