Then your DSL should suit you well. It's cheap but it's not fast. Problem is, DSL around here is neither cheap nor fast...starts at $40/month for a 1.5 connection! |

I like watching movies streamed from my own router-attached hard disk, or maybe backing stuff up online, or downloading large MP3 albums (for the college radio station I work at). So basically I take all the speed I can get, as long as the rice is below, oh, $70 a month. I also use VoIP over the connection, and the savings of VoIP alone pays for some of that conection cost. |
