Yes, I am aware of the "normal procedure" as suggested by the forums, already tried that, got an American tech support person who spoke very good english, explained the situation fully to her.
Still nothing.

Just wanted to see if there are other options before I disconnect DSL and POTS to seek a better value.

If you have already read the forum threads about this than you are aware that this may require more than few calls.

So the tech stated that you are on a noise profile?

And when you asked to be removed from said noise profile what was the response from the tech?

I have had to do this several times with my service and have never had a problem getting switched. Other than the problem of the first few techs being too apathetic to care to think about what I was asking. Good luck.

okay so he knows about the noise profie , tell customer support you need a tech sent out now or you are leaving ( we call it a save dispatch) no bill and fixed at any cost if that will not help I have the # for dsg reps that have a brain the only way to get that fixed is (A) a tech is called out he calls dsg with his meter looking at the speed and pvt the line w/ dsg or change the dsl port at the r.t both require at dispatch forget the on the phone customer support do nothing
