| I just got my 18-200mm couple months ago and seems to be good. I'm surprised that Nikon released 18-105mm lens because the segment appears to be saturated; 18-55mm VR, 16-85mm VR, 18-200mm VR and now 18-105mm VR.
All of which would work great for kit or walkaround lens - not to mention the 3rd party introducing 'VC' zooms, too, but I'd like to see an 17-55mm DX get a little VR treatment -- R u b i c o n |

| I like my 24-135 on my crop body...I could "upgrade" to some "better" lenses in the 24-70 or 28-80 range but I'd lose a lot of telephoto. Maybe someday if I get more megapixels.
What would be really interesting is if C&N introduced CCD-shift anti-shake that could work with or without the IS/VR in the lenses... They probably won't do that though, too much margin when you make people buy the IS/VR in all their lenses. |
