Ip don't map to addresses. You can get the general area. »ip-address.cc/ come close with me.

Not with me. That site pegs me on Stevenson Blvd., in Fremont, California. Never lived in the East Bay in my entire life; born, and raised, in the South Bay.

Trace route puts me in Pleasanton, California, even farther out than Fremont. Can't rely on anything based on IP address host name, or WHOIS records.
