I recently moved on up to 7.1, how are my numbers? Good enough for FastPath?
Transceiver Revision: 7.2.3.0 Vendor ID Code: 4 Line Mode: G.DMT Mode Data Path: Interleaved Transceiver Information DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec) 7616 864 Margin (dB) 10.5 14.0 Line Attenuation (dB) 31.0 14.5 Transmit Power (dBm) 14.0 11.7

| reply to Smith6612 Smith6612, as I already said placing me on a different router hasn't helped. You mentioned being placed on a different route. I suggested this to Verizon Direct. Do you think this might help? Here is my latest line quality test. Thanks for your advice.

| Your line isn't in the greatest of shape. With high attenuation, low margins and with the line being synced incorrectly, you shouldn't even be running on the 3Mbps profile. Is your line using G.DMT mode or is it using ADSL2 or ADSL2+ mode? -- "All your base are belong to me!" |

| If you want to keep 3Mbps, you can try asking Verizon to give you ADSL2+. It won't help with the upstream margin too much so that will probably remain not synced properly, but it should help the downstream enough to sync it properly and to get FastPath. -- "All your base are belong to me!" |

I do not know if my line is Interleave or Fastpath.
Will my line benefit from fastpath upgrade? If so i would like to request it on the forum. Thanks |

| Your line has a bit of packet loss on it. Are you seeing slow speeds at all or were you using your connection while the test was running, or for that matter extreme lag spikes in games? Also, the best way to tell if your line is on Fast or Interleaved is to check your modem Transciever state or in the system log. See if you can get the info from the modem. -- "All your base are belong to me!" |

1 edit | Will, can you plug your DSL modem into your NID? That line won't be going anywhere with margins like those unless the stats improve. If your NID shows better stats (which you can post up here), we can go from there. If not, post up.
@rci2990: I'll post up how your line looks shortly. Just need to install OpenOffice Draw to read your file. -- "All your base are belong to me!" |
