[Xtreme] Is Dryloop DSL 6.0 Extreme any good?

I see lots of complaints here about ATT. I have unlimited cell now so looking to cut the cord.

I cut my voice line here in Atlanta to dryloop 6.0 and it behaves EXACTLY as it did with the voice product.

I consistantly get 6.5M/430 and you can't beat paying no taxes on $47.95 a month.

The switch was made totally online and took effect within 48 hours. I still pay my bills online and have the exact same account number. In fact, since the next bill was prorated, it was about $18 lower. Also, there are no admin or additional costs to make the cut.

Sorry, no issues to speak of here... Oh, I did the cut about 120 days ago and have been on DSL since 2003.

What a waste of money for a dialtone you never use. That was my thinking and I've never looked back.

On their website, it said, "Overage charges may apply." They don't explain it (bandwidth overage charges) but it says it. I'll skip AT&T. Thanks for the input!

There is no usage cap.

I just got direct dsl 6.0 and have great speeds, the ordering process went smoothly, and they got my due date moved up by over a week.

It gives them an out, they can cut the cord on you if you say consistently cost them money other words your not profitable to them.

I haven't seen or heard from ATT any specific language that would indicate what they consider excessive usage.

That being the case (IMO) if Comcast has a monthly 250GB Cap then ATT could use something like it as a gauge not saying that is there number it could be 500GB.

If you are doing less than 5GB on your Cell then I wouldn't worry about ATT DSL Possible Caps.

I have SAFA DSL 6.0 and haven't had any issues from ATT regarding excessive usage, then again I do have a few lines from ATT but I still don't think it matters.

I can tell you though I have had the 3G HSI from ATT and speed was close to DSL (1.5MB) but not consistent.

For everyday browsing Cell HSI with ATT is okay.

If your a power user there is no comparison.

Your 5GB Cap on Cell HSI I have heard it has been enforced before for certain users who used 100GB.

If Bandwidth Caps are worrying you I would go with Dry-line DSL otherwise the Mobility of 3G service is definitely a plus.
