I think what your seeing is the linklocal address, dose it start with a "fe80::"? If it dose then that is a linklocal address sorta like a Lan address (10.x.x.x 196.168.x.x) but it is autogenerated from the network adapters MAC address and it isn't routeble. |

I didn't ask anyone to give me my IPv6 address so is it generated automatically or how ... |
