Have Counterspy3 antispyware on PC. Was Installing Vipre when it told me that I already have CS3 on my PC. Do I want to "DOWNGRADE" to Vipre (!!?)
How is installing antisyware PLUS an AV a downgrade? |

This is a little off topic. I assume you are running Vipre AV+AS. Do you get definition updates on the weekends? I get them Monday-Friday, but not on weekends. |

I sent an e-mail last night to Sunbelt support asking about Vipre updates. To my surprise, I received a response in less than 24 hours. Nice to know there is still a security software company out there that responds to questions in less than a week. |

How is installing antisyware PLUS an AV a downgrade? You are NOT downgrading, since VIPRE is a AV + CounterSpy V.3.x ...so what you need to do is to UN-Install totally CS 3 and after re-booting your PC proceed to install VIPRE and you´ll have both: CounterSpy plus the Antivirus, all in one program.

I suspect my new Vipre upgrade has been sending forwarded emails as much as 50 times each to the same recipient, while some only get the same email once! I also experienced slow operation, etc. I will confirm today when I uninstall Vipre hater. XP & Outlook.
Wouldn't it be great if manufacturers would get out ahead of the field test with immediate candor, instead of "did YOU do this" and "did YOU do that". I for one would give them a second chance.
If I wanted to do something, I wouldn't have paid YOU to do it for me.
