| MA Realignment
Our realignment here in MA is suppose to start tomorrow 8/20.
I got the message through the IMG 2 weeks ago. The phone call from Verizon last week. Actually my wife took the call and not knowing I had been eagerly awaiting it she promptly hung up on it before i could listen to it.
What I have not yet seen is the new channel guide in the mail nor have i seen any of the "moving to" messages in the IMG that we had on the last realignment.
Has anyone else got the new channel guide in the mail or noticed anything else going on realignment related?
Or are we getting screwed? |

You might wanna call tech support on that one.
I tried to grab the new listings, but the PDF still shows the old locations. |

Joe, where are you looking for the moved to messages? Press Guide, then on each channel, as you scroll up or down, it says it after the program description. |

The channels have not been moved yet! The stated date for MA is tomorrow, August 20. I don't one should expect the moved to messages to show up until the channels have been moved. People should not panic until they get to the date for their location. Then they can panic and run around screaming, OMG, where are the HD channels they promised us!  |

But if you go to one of the channels that is moving (and not all of them are) in the guide, you will see the indication that it is moving. It seems like once you get into a group of channels, that group will be moving by 15 or 20 and it will stay that way for many channels in a row. |

If you press the "Guide" button, and go to channel 200, after the description for whatever is on TCM right now, you should see a message that it is moving to 230 on 8/20. |

I can't wait till the new channels come! 1 more day (assuming it happens). Only thing i dread is how long it takes tivo (tribune) to change too. Seemed to take a whiel for other states.

| We got realigned as scheduled. Looks like we have a lot more HD than we were supposed to get. Still reviewing!! Looks very good.
On review, looks like we got the full HD premium movie package, which is much more than is on the printed lineup for MA. For example, we were supposed to get two Cinemax HD's and we got 12!! No complaint here. |

There are a lot more movie channel HD's in the guide than in the lineup i received. I don't get a HBO/Cin/movie package so I am not sure if they are black screen or working.
Tivo HD all messed up as per previous realignment areas.

On another note, do we have M cards in Mass yet? When I talked to Vz they were very confused |

I am getting that for Versus/Golf HD as well. But I don't subscribe to the Golf channel - that is part of an upgrade. I was hoping that this would be part of the basic package. |

Yes, we got the full compliment of movie channels (Starz, TMC, HBO, Cinemax, etc.). I just did a HD count and we have a total of 87 HD channels available right now including the two Olympic channels.
This was certainly a pleasant surprise!! Now if we just could get the other 13 or so, we would match up nicely with NYC. |
