Teleblend dropping price to $12.95

I just received this email from Teleblend:

Dear Customer,

With a year behind us and the launch of our new website, many of you have been wondering when the proposed price change would take effect on your TeleBlend service. We are thrilled to announce that due to your continued support and commitment to our company we are not raising rates for our existing customers. That means that you will continue to enjoy great savings through TeleBlend at the low price of only $12.95/month. This is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty.
You may have noticed our new logo and website at www.teleblend.com. As we move forward, you can expect TeleBlend to continue to work diligently towards improving our overall product and customer experience.

We know you have several choices when it comes to phone service and, again, we would like to thank you for choosing TeleBlend as your telephone service provider.

Kind regards,
TeleBlend
I never did understand their old rate. I thought it was supposed to be flat rate but looking back through my bills I see it varied from $14.87 to $14.97. (Anyone know why?) But I'm not complaining. I've had no problems with Teleblend. But I worry about their prices going down. I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for. Are they in their final death throes or just desperate to build up business?

We apologize for any confusion that our News Update caused regarding the TeleBlend pricing. If you were a TeleBlend customer before we re-opened to the general public you will continue to receive our service for $12.95/month plus associated taxes and fees.

This assures that you will continue to pay the same monthly price for your service that you have been since your initial signup and will not be experiencing the price increase that was originally expected after your 1 year SunRocket contract expired.

Again, we apologize for any confusion that this may have caused and we would like to thank you for your continued support.

Thanks again,

TeleBlend

Taxes. If you look at the bills, you will see they varried.
IMHO.... I would say they dropped the price foe existing coustomers for retention. at $12.95/mo. it is one of the lowest full service prices going. I would say they are banking on keeping somebody who is looking to save that extra $2-7.00 a month, in return for limited tech support or news.
I myself prefer the line to work when expected, and know that tech is there when/if needed.

Bill? What bill?

I went to the teleblend website but it has no statements. I get an email every month and it contains a URL ( »https://payment.teleblend.com ) that produces this:

By the way, at the regular website, clicking the link for my voice messages sends me to »www.vm.sunrocket.com which returns a 404 error.

OK, now I understand. No answer for you on that one.
All I can say is that when I did have service, the invoices differed by a few cents, due to differences in the taxes and regulatory fees.
Voicemail link to SunRocket sounds about right, except for the 404 error.
If your service works, and you can get voicemail via your phone, and you can deal with the issues with the websites, then $12.95+ reg fees and taxes is for you. If you expect everything to work, then you need to hammer their tech support to get it right, and have patience along the way. Or, you can spend a little bit more money and get service with somebody else that is more reliable. I can honestly say that I have not read of any service that is 100% reliable, except for POTS, which is really stretching it.
Good Luck.

When I click on your link above for »https://payment.teleblend.com/ it brings me to a Teleblend logon screen - no problems here at all - perhaps it is an issue with your browser.

The link to their payment center is working today! But it only shows the bottom line price. There is no break-out into taxes and fees. But since each bill has always been within 10 cents, I'm not worried.

TeleBlend Statement info
When you login, goto My Bills, and view statement. Unless they changed it, this is how mine looked.

It still works and looks about the same, it's a pdf and you need Acrobat Reader to view the statements.

Sheesh, I totally overlooked the blue bar. Thanks!

I posted my Taxes & Surcharges since that was the only thing different between yours and mine. The comparison is interesting.
