| Your issue was Telco Phone Service not present.
3rd Party Telephone companies are not eligible for EL DSL and that caused your disconnection when they determined that you did not have AT&T as your Phone Provider. They had no choice but to disconnect you.

see my Phone service is setup through Budget Phone, my internet at the time was setup through Earthlink, all of this happened before ordering Bellsouth DSL, this was happening before AT&T turned on the DSL line to my house for access. I got AT&T quickly because I already had a modem from previous service with them.

When signing up with Budget phone I kept the same number I had from Bellsouth.
Its not fault Earthlink is too stupid to see that and let it go for 6 months, sounds to me Earthlink knew and it was trying to make quick money since that company is going down the tube. |
