Garbage Company

This company has already failed Long Island, as far as i'm concerned.

Their website is horrible, slow and has no content. They have no portfolio....what have they actually started and completed? Any?

IMHO, a wireless system requires a significant initial capitol to buy the hardware and setup the system, and then ease of use and a low cost. Ads? If you can make it work and generate significant income, then maybe. A couple dollars for a day is decent. I'd pay $20/mo for unlimited usage...and my use would most likely be limited.

OTOH, someone like cablevision is already wiring our area and will most likely be done before ePath even figures out what hardware to buy. They have the lines run and backbone....it's almost trivial for them to setup a wireless network. I think the reason they didn't bid on the RFP for nassau/suffolk was that they want complete control.

Sorry Delray Beach, FL and Nassau and Suffolk, NY....ePath is/has failed you - even before starting. CV/OOL, though, will most likely beat you in Nassau/Suffolk.....and at a total cost of $0 to any CV/OOL subscriber.

ePath is NOT installing anything in Delray. They stopped before it was even started the same as in Long Island. a private citizen is actually doing it now.

If other Cable Cos and ISPs did the same thing CableVision and the Dolans are doing right now they're wouldnt be a need for wired internet thousands of cities around the country.

You have no clue what it's going to cost us. They are letting you use it for "free" but that doesn't mean Optimum Onlines will not go up in price next year. It hasn't in the last couple of years, so we are due for an increase. If Cablevision is successful in wiring their entire service area with Wifi... then I think you will see more companies doing similar things. Comcast, TimeWarner, RCN, etc. That will put all these phonies out of business. - Assuming Cablevision has a plan to get Wifi into areas with underground wiring.

As in total cost of $0, I am referring to my immediate cost out of pocket to use the service. As in if ePath came around, it could be $5/day. With CV, it's $0.

Everything has a hidden cost...that's a given. It costs SOMEONE money SOMEWHERE and they are going to recoup that cost.
