I hope it works, too. Oh, and you can get "light licensed" 3.65 GHz WiMax equipment and such. The license costs next to nothing ($120 for 10 years iirc) so it's basically just insurance against cordless phones, baby monitors, etc. clogging up the spectrum.
If this works, it would be a hallmark that other cities could base their networks off of. Or other people. This is pretty much what WiMax is made for... |

I live just north of Delray Beach, and I can tell you for sure that the demographics that make up the majority of that city are not the type that are going to shell out any money for a wireless Internet system.
